The Ice We Share is a 15-minute experimental documentary essay in which Vi Reichel, a German filmmaker and former professional figure skater, explores the ice as a material witness. After years shaped by performance pressure, she begins to explore a new relationship to the ice through skating in the Netherlands, where it goes beyond being a sport and is deeply rooted in national culture.
